I first printed off the house template and the rose images (from the CD) onto some fabric that you can run thru your printer such as Claudine Hellmouth Sticky - Back Canvas, just stick it onto some lightweight white or cream fabric and then follow the instructions below.
For the houses, simply cut them out, choose a backing fabric, with right sides together - stitch around the house leaving about an inch and a half open at the bottom. Turn right side out, stuff, then whip stitch the bottom closed. Now, you are ready to adorn with lace, seam binding or ribbon, burlap heart, vintage buttons, jute, rolled felt flower... what ever your little heart desires! They are the cutest little things! You can also just print them off on cardstock, assemble and they make cute table decorations for a party.
For the hearts, pretty much the same except you trace a heart shape around the rose image, cut out and follow the same steps as the house sachets. Adhere a piece of jute string (shaped into a loop) in the center of the heart as shown in the photo, then tie a bow in the center... adorn as you wish! Linda has these Cd's at a great price with an extra 15% off this week so, head on over to her Zibbet shop, The Funkie Junkie and get your Cd and some sweet lace, buttons, trinkets, etc. There are so many fabulous papers and templates on this Cd with so many possibilities!
Enjoy your weekend and thanks for stopping by today!
