Teri Wilson - TerisMailbox
Hello friends. It is Teri with TerisMailboxTerisMailbox posting for The Funkie Junkie Boutique Inspiration Avenue! Having too much fun with the newest @Ideology Products!
I used one of my favorite color combinations - Turquoise and Browns to create this masculine tag!
I do have a video Here
Create the Tag Base
Start with a small Etcetera Tag and dry brush Salvaged Patina Distress Paint over the entire surface. Once dry, apply collage Medium with a brush and apply collage papers on top. I used one paper from each Archives and Serendipity. Add a coordinating Large Collage Strip, cut in two pieces to fit. Allow to dry.
Use a file tool to remove the excess collage paper.
Add black stars using a stencil, pallet knife and Black Opaque Paste. Set aside to dry.
Create the Embellishments
Use the Vault Rosette Die to create a coordinating rosette.
Use the Bigz Jalopy die to create the card for the scene. I used some Green Brown and Brown Cardstock to create mine. Once glued together and dry, use a sanding tool to rough up the surface.
Add Vintage Photo Embossing Glaze with Embossing Ink to a Quote Chip and Heat dry.
Assemble the Tag
Using Collage Medium, glue the rosette near the top, left of center. Attach the tin top on the upper right side.
Add hay or moss to the lower edge of the tag. Add black foam tape on the back of the men to support them. Add Collage medium and attach the group to the Rosette and the tin. Add foam tape to the lower rights side of the Jalopy and glue the right side over the group.
Attach the quote chip to the right side of the tag!
