I did some random stamping using the black Archival ink over the top of the resist.
The main image was stamped onto Speciality Stamping paper as I wanted a really crisp image and this paper really does show the detail on your stamps. I cut it out and rubbed some Distress Ink around the edge.
The main image was mounted onto some white cotton fabric that I stamped using Archival black ink. It's always a good idea to heat set any stamping onto fabric to avoid any bleeding. The cotton fabric can be any close weave material, I found an old white sheet while having a sort out recently so it was perfect for my craft room !
I cut the flowers from the stamped cotton using the Tattered Flowers and Mini Tattered Flowers dies. I just tipped the flowers with some Distress Ink to add colour.
All of the metal embellisments were covered in black acrylic paint, you can also use a Paint Dabber, to distress them.
I then rubbed it off but the paint stays in all of the recessed areas aging and distressing your object.
I added some of the gorgeous lace that Linda sells in the Funkie Junkie Boutique across the bottom to finish off.
Remember you still have time to join in with the current challenge which is How can you Resist ? and there's also the Sunday Share to join in too !
