Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by today to see what our Funkie team has created for The Great Outdoors challenge.  This is week two where we explore the funkier side of vintage and we have some wonderful samples to share with you this week.  Everyone is invited to share their vintage inspired designs, frilly or funkie, anytime during the two weeks the challenge is running.  For this challenge, we want you to make something with an outdoors theme and it must include a quote about nature.  This challenge closes on Tuesday evening, September 18th.  We'd love to have you join us.  Here's some Funkie inspiration to get you started.

Week One of The Great Outdoors challenge:

Welcome back Frilly and Funkie friends.  Linda here with this fortnight's challenge.  Our theme this time around will be The Great Outdoors.  Thea heat of the summer is starting to break here in the States and maybe it is where you live too.  Let's celebrate being able to get outside and enjoy the fresh air by making something with an outdoors theme.  Please note, a required ingredient is that you must include a quote about outdoors/nature.  Here's what our designers have to get you started.

Our challenge offers two opportunities for prizes - a random drawing for a $25 gift certificate to shop at The Funkie Junkie Boutique and a best project competition, judged by the voting of the design team members. The Funkie Favorite winner receives a winner's badge to display on their blog sidebar.
