Saturday Showcase - Stampers Anonymous Flower Shop + Glorious Garden

Happy Saturday!  Suzz here with the next Saturday Showcase!

I am highlighting two different Stampers Anonymous Stamp sets the Glorious Garden and the Flower Shop.  My daughter has been asked to be a bridesmaid in a few weddings this summer which inspired me to create a few different wedding cards using these stamp sets.

I love how versatile the flower stamps are for summer weddings.  You can stamp them in different colors, use different portions of the stamp, and add color to coordinate.

I played with stamping the Glorious Garden on this one using the Watering Can ink and added a touch of color with watercolor pencils and a water brush.  I stamped the sentiment with a soft pink and a touch of the gray over the pink ink.

After I finished I sprinkled it with a splattering of the Seth Apter Inkz spray to add a shimmer.  The twine is accented with a ladybug gem.

Next up I tried the same idea but used the lovely green ink to stamp everything.
I added just a hint of neutral watercolors to the flowers.  This actually is the color of the bridesmaids dresses and fit the style of the wedding.  I finished this card with tiny dew drops.  I used glossy accents and added dew drops randomly over the surface.  I made some larger drops and some smaller.  It is a tiny touch that adds an unexpected result.

I wanted to try another version of this with more coloring and a glossy finish.
I stamped the image with the green ink.  I colored the flowers with watercolor and a waterbrush.  After that dried I sponged the entire surface with Versamark Watermark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I did this twice to give it a clear coat which added a lovely sheen to the front of the card.

For each card I chose a different sentiment on the inside and added a touch of the flowers in the corners as well.

After I finished my watercolors, I decided to use the Flower Shop stamp in a few different ways.

I inked up the stamp with the yellow ink and then dabbed the edges of the stamp with the tan ink.

I stamped the roses with this inking in two spots and then added the sentiment stamped in the tan color.  I layered the card and added a touch of the rustic with twine and a kraft card base.

I then decided to stamp the Flower Shop flowers on layers of a card.

I used a pink and yellow and stamped the mage on three layers of the card.  The nice thing about all of these cards is they can be put in a regular envelop and sent without fear of ruining the effect.  I would wrap the charms in tissue to protect them.

For my final card I decided to create a kraft and white card.

I stamped the flowers on the kraft cardstock with Versamark Watermark ink.  I then heat embossed the flowers using the white embossing powder.

I tied the white ribbon across the front and accented with a white flower.

I then stamped the Mr. & Mrs following the same process as the top.  The stamped kraft cardstock was taped to the card base.
