Hello!!! I'm Wanda Hentges and am thrilled to be your guest designer for the It's A Wrap challenge. I started rubber stamping in 1999 beginning with making cards and then expanding to all things related to rubber stamping and beyond. I enjoy creating cards, ATCs, altered art, mixed media, jewelry, art journaling, bible journaling, and more. When life is crazy busy even just a couple of minutes being creative can make such a difference in a day.
I've been married for 36 years and we are blessed with children, grandchildren and a great grandchild. Our family all lives close and we get to see the grands often. They are such a joy!!!!
What a wonderful challenge Sara Emily has chosen for us and I had great fun creating a complete wrapping ensemble for somebody's Christmas gift - wrapping paper, tags, and embellishments. Just in case you are wondering; no, I don't have a real present wrapped, and I used removable tape so I can actually use this once I'm ready to wrap.
The wrapping paper begins with a piece of packing paper received in an order. I used Gloss Spray to begin and then stenciled with Distress Paint. I wanted to use products that would dry permanent when creating on the paper.
The set of tags are a perfect match to the paper and allow for writing the name of the recipient and perhaps even a short note.
I have many pictures and complete instructions over on my blog, ArtByWanda. I hope you have time to stop by. There is still time for you to join in the It's A Wrap challenge.
Heartfelt thanks to Linda and the team for choosing my poinsettia card for the Christmas Cards in July challenge and for inviting me to guest here!!
Have a wonderful day!!! Hugs, Wanda

DeleteWanda you've taken wrapping to a whole different level with this beautiful ensemble of packaging and trims. I love how you've taken the trouble to completely coordinate the paper with the poinsettia topper and the layered tags work so well with them. Thank you for sharing your talents with us here at The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog xx
