Friday Focus - Idea-ology ... It's all in the details

Well It is my turn for the Friday Focus today and boy have I had fun as the product in focus today is an all time favourite of mine , Idea-ology. To say I love this stuff is an understatement...When I open up my trinket box full of idea-ology it is full of possibilities and the adventure awaits.( okay so I have a few more draws and boxes of the over spill idea-ology ..told you I loved it!)

So why do I love it so much, the potential for creativity and just so many yummy things...they can be added individually , in clusters or in bulk! There is so much to choose from and they can be added to suit so many styles...So I did get a bit carried away and here is the piece I made  ( for full details..hop here to my blog ) .I will try and concentrate on the idea-ology..honest! I know some of you have seen this before but this concentrates on idea-ology.

So I did indulge myself, and created a home for my much loved Chemist..all the detail of the full creation are on my blog..so some close ups and idea-ology focus:

This little piece sums up the wonder of idea-ology...with gears, mini vials, a wishbone, light bulbs and these fab numbers all packed in a small space...they allow you to play and create ...these vials are so fun and can be left empty or  filled with all sorts from potions to fairy dust! I even added some film strip in some ink to one!

Also the fractured dolls, now dolls do give me the creeps and yet I somehow love these ...

whether wrapped in wire, encased in a dome, wrapped in film strip...the possibilties are endless...

and here she is nestled in one of the new domes...

nestled in this attic..or nestled amongst other great idea-ology pieces here :
I love adding little butterflies to them..also here are more mini vials and a locket key...

 So another place...

More vials, looks like this has spilled, watch faces complete with spinner hands, a compass, pen nib and long forgotten letter I think as well as some fab chit chat stickers with great phrases for all occasions...all part of the wonderful and varied Idea-ology range. Oh and words bands great for these large pieces but also great for adding to tags and simpler makes.

More mini vials, the Chemist has been busy...and these fab label clips ...which fit perfectly onto configuration boxes and which I have glued at an angle here..oh and number plaquettes which are great for all sorts of makes...

And there is more :

Another pen nib ( I have use these for great butterfly bodies too..) and hiding in the corner philosophy token , these are great for adding to the top of tags..

Well hopefully I have inspired you to have a play..I had an amazing time making this and got completely lost in it indulging myself in creating ..just beacuse... it was so much fun.. but I do love using Idea-ology on tags...a huge favourite of mine, and so much more...but I think I have kept you here long enough....

have a fun and inky day! trace x

I have purchased a few and have a small collection, unused:( But you have inspired me to get them out and just play! Thank you for sharing:)
