"Hello, my name is Branka (aka Vintage Handmade) and I come from Croatia. I am a mother of two amazing children and a wife of a wonderful husband.
We live in our house in a small town and we have a dog and a cat.
I have been crafting since my childhood and after a lot of experimenting I fell into mixed media art and art journaling a few years ago. My style is rather eclectic, trying to express myself in different styles, playing with different mediums, techniques and materials. I particularly love to use vibrant colors in my creations and to add some fabric elements and rusted details."
"I am delighted to be invited to guest design on the Frilly and Funkie challenge blog for their current challenge hosted by amazing Nancy and I decided to alter a brush, inspired by her awesome 'Floral Infatuation' theme!
This was just a cheap brush from a hardware store and I used white gesso, some Decoart media white crackle paste and my Golden crackle paste to create some texture.
I also used my Dylusions inks and a Tarnished Brass Distress spray stain on top of the crackle paste.
To color my Prima resin frame I used the same color combination as on my background. My paper flowers were painted randomly with the diluted Finnabair Light Patina metallic paint. I also added some gold micro beads here and there and some golden flat back pearls."
